  1. Say “YES” to hosting your ‘Dinner with Friends’ Fundraiser Gathering!
  2. Select Your Date and mark your calendar!
  3. Create Your Guest List.  Decide on the number of guest you want to invite and make your guest list. 
  4. Start Planning the type of dinner gathering you want to have.  Remember you are in charge and anything goes! 
  5. Send Out Invitations a few weeks in advance to give guest plenty of notice and time to R.S.V.P.  Inform Guests that this is a Fundraiser and you will be expecting them to make a donation to H.U.G.S. in return for their evening dinner gathering experience. 
  6. Lookout for the ‘Dinner with Friends’ Host Packet to arrive in the mail to you two weeks in advance of your selected dinner gathering date. 
  7. When your guests arrive Hand Out the Survivor Pins, Donation Envelopes and the Informational Literature provided to you in your Host Packet.  HAVE FUN AND KNOW YOU ARE MAKING A HUGE DIFFERENCE!
  8. Remember to Collect Donation Envelopes from your guests before they depart.  You can also direct guest to a designated 'Donation Station' for guests to make their donation directly online using your computer/laptop/IPad or Tablet. 
  9. Return Collected Donations to H.U.G.S. in the Donation Return Envelope back provided in your Host Packet as soon as possible. 
  10. BE VERY PROUD knowing that your dinner party proceeds will fund programs offered by H.U.G.S. that support individuals impacted by the loss of a loved one to suicide.   You help us to carry others until they can carry themselves.
